ABOUT US

What We Do

Our mission is to provide equitable access to clean, reliable energy by transforming the world’s trash into valuable reclaimed materials. NEG acquires dormant power plants and retrofits them with proprietary, carbon-negative pyrolysis technology capable of efficiently generating power and recovering resources from large batches of decommissioned turbine blades, end-of-life plastics, railroad ties, used tires, and municipal waste via thermal decomposition. Our process reduces the burden on landfills, empowers a circular economy, minimizes harmful emissions, and supports the global transition to sustainable energy by combining efficient pyrolysis systems and clean natural gas gensets with sophisticated means of carbon capture to meet the rising demands of energy impoverished communities vulnerable to brownouts and price surges.

At NEG, we value what it means to be a responsible corporate citizen, and regularly evaluate our socioeconomic impact right alongside our efforts to provide sustainable, innovative energy generation and waste management solutions. We uplift the communities we serve by:

  • Committing 20% of all off-peak revenue to energy or cash subsidies for low-income households
  • Diverting waste from local landfills
  • Leveraging battery backup storage to ensure that the lights are always on
